Class Roster Hub

Build a class roster once here, and load it straight into any other tool that needs one — no re-typing a class list from scratch in each one.

Roster

Period and course are used here to group your rosters and to head the printed pages. Other tools still see the roster by its name.

0 names

Name, preferred name, pronunciation, period, course and school year as columns — the shape a gradebook import or a sub folder wants. Excel puts each roster on its own sheet; CSV puts them all in one file with a Roster column.

Move or merge students

Tick students in the list above to move them to another roster — mid-year section changes, or splitting one big list into two. Merging pulls another roster’s names into this one without touching the original.

Archive a withdrawn student

Archiving moves a student out of the active roster — and out of Name Picker, random grouping, and every other tool that loads this roster — without erasing their name from anywhere they already have history (points, hall passes, reading logs). Restore them any time.

Archived

    Where this shows up

These tools already know how to load a saved roster from here — look for "Load a saved roster…" near their own roster box.

      All saved rosters
        Archived rosters & past years

Archiving a roster takes it out of every other tool’s roster list without deleting the names. Starting a new year archives them all at once and hands you back the same set of empty classes.

          Nothing archived yet.

          Move Everything to Another Device

Every saved roster, its preferred names and pronunciations, and everything archived — sent straight to another computer over the same Wi‑Fi, device to device. No file to email, upload, or lose.
