Off: a reshuffle only avoids repeating the last shuffle or two. On: it also swaps students between groups to give pairs who have worked together least a turn, never at the cost of a keep-apart or keep-together rule or of a locked group.

Off. On: each group is made of students who sit close together in this class's Seating Chart, after the rules above and your grouping strategy have had their say. A student with no desk in the chart is placed without regard to where they sit.

Naming style

One role per line

Leave empty for no roles. With a list, every group is given its roles each time you make or reshuffle groups, so that nobody holds a role again before the others in their group have had a turn. A group with fewer students than roles leaves the last roles of the list unfilled; a group with more gives the extra students no role, and that counts as a turn too. A locked group keeps its students but its roles rotate.
