Printed, in your words, on each evacuation card for a room with no step-free way out. Left blank, those cards print blank lines under this heading to fill in by hand. The tool writes no procedure of its own.

Publishing

Published copies can open a newer schedule file Adds an "Open a newer schedule…" button to the files Publish for Teachers makes from now on. A teacher can then open a file you publish later (or another building's) in the copy they already have, until they close it. Off, a published copy looks exactly as before. Copies already sent do not change.

Published copies show directions Adds a Directions tab to the files Publish for Teachers makes from now on: pick two rooms and the copy shows the way on the floor maps, step-free too when a staircase is marked as an elevator or ramp. Each copy then carries every room's door and the staircases, which a copy without the tab does not. Off, a published copy looks exactly as before. Copies already sent do not change.

Published copies show a sub plan Adds a Sub Plan tab to the files Publish for Teachers makes from now on: pick the teacher who is out and the day, and the copy lists each class with who is on Planning then, a box to type who covers it, "Copy the plan" for an email, and one page to print. It is made from the schedule only and keeps nothing. Off, a published copy looks exactly as before. Copies already sent do not change.

Send the current full project straight to another laptop over the same Wi-Fi — a QR/code pairing, same idea as Classroom Timer's "Mirror to a device" — instead of exporting a file and importing it there by hand.

Project Snapshots

Save up to 5 named copies of your project to browser storage. Snapshots are independent of exported JSON files and stay in this browser.

Automatic Recovery Points

Kept on their own, without you asking: the whole project is copied every few minutes while you work, and again when you leave the page. Three are held at a time, oldest dropped. If the browser dies, or the saved layout comes back unreadable, you'll be offered the newest one on the next open. These live in this browser's IndexedDB, separate from the auto-save above, so a full-storage failure can't take both.

⚠ Danger Zone

Permanently clears all blueprint data saved in this browser (grid tiles, room assignments, staircase pairs). This does not affect exported JSON files. Cannot be undone.
