Renaming a destination here only affects sign-outs from now on — it doesn’t rewrite trips already logged today. “Over after” sets how many minutes out flags that destination as overdue on the live board. “Note at sign-out” asks for a quick free-text note when a student heads there — on by default for anything that sounds like Nurse, Office, or Counselor.

These are prompts the teacher sees and confirms, not an automatic lock — there’s no login here to enforce anything harder than that.

Pair with another teacher’s Hall Pass Log covering the same hallway so Projector View shows one combined out-count and overtime alert instead of two blind halves. Only the same redacted counts already shown in Projector View are ever sent — no names, no per-student destinations. Works between two devices on the same Wi-Fi/LAN; no server involved.

Archiving saves today’s log to history and clears the board for a fresh day. The roster and destination list carry over. Everyone must be signed in first.

Sign-out counts since Sunday (today plus any archived days) — a quick way to spot a pattern worth a hallway or nurse conversation.

Per-student totals across a date range you pick — pulls from archived history (kept up to 90 days) plus today’s log. Good for a quarter recap or a parent conversation.
